GillElastic is a personal job search tool operated by Sean Gill for use by a small, invited group of users. This policy explains what information GillElastic collects, how it is used, and how you can control it.
When you use GillElastic, we collect the information you provide directly: your resume content, target job profile, screening question answers, email address, and phone number. We also collect information generated by your use of the app: which job postings you've been matched with, your application status on each, and your notification preferences.
Your resume and profile information is used to rank job postings for relevance and to draft tailored application materials on your behalf. Your email address and phone number are used solely to send you notifications about job matches and to let you take action by replying to those notifications.
By providing your phone number and opting in within the application, you consent to receive SMS text messages from GillElastic related to job match alerts. You can reply to these messages to take actions such as starting an application or updating your status.
GillElastic relies on a small number of service providers to function. Apify performs job listing collection from public sources and does not receive any of your personal information. Anthropic's Claude API processes your resume and job posting text to perform matching and drafting; under Anthropic's commercial API terms, this data is not used to train Anthropic's models. Clerk provides account authentication. Amazon Web Services hosts the application and its data.
Your information is retained for as long as you use GillElastic. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
GillElastic supports multiple independent users. Your resume, applications, and tailored materials are visible only to you and are never shared with other users of the application.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
